Tasmania is unlike any other Australian state or territory

Aside from being the only state situated off the mainland, being an island unto itself Tasmania does not have the same open endlessness that other areas of this country does.

There is a lot packed into what is affectionately known as ‘the small island’ under down under, from the sun and sand of the coastal regions to the snow on the mountains and forests, lakes, and rivers in between.

This is reflected in the mentality of the Tasmanian. For, whereas in other capital cities 15 minutes in the car could mean the movement from one set of lights to another, in Tasmania the same car ride would reveal a completely different landscape prompting a pause to stretch the legs, have a cuppa, and the beauty that is Tasmania.
